Thanks for using Onoma! By using this application, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms").

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Onoma, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the application, whether registered or not, and constitute a legal agreement between you and Onoma.

Definitions

• "We/Us/Onoma": refers to Ryde Ventures, the operator of the application.
• "You/User/Customer": any person or entity using the application.
• "User Content": text, files, prompts, code, images, and other content you submit to the application.
• "Service Output": content generated by Onoma (including model outputs).
• "Models": any machine learning models, including third‑party or open models, used to produce output.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use the application. If you are using Onoma on behalf of an organization you represent, you have authority to bind that organization.

Account, Credentials, and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspected misuse.

Inactive accounts after 1 year will be eliminated with prior communication.

License to Use Onoma

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Onoma for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. Subject to these Terms, we grant you access and use of the application solely for your permitted purposes. Any use beyond the intended and authorized scope is strictly prohibited.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are the exclusive property of Ryde Ventures or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from the application without prior written consent.

Onoma does not claim ownership of User Content or Output, except for necessary operational rights.

User Content

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any Input you provide.

You maintain full ownership of your Input content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate.

Output Use and Responsibility

Output is provided for your convenience. You are solely responsible for how you use this Output and for any decisions made based on it. You are responsible for the use and accuracy of Output and must not misrepresent it as human-generated if produced by the application.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the Output for any purpose. You must independently verify outputs before relying on them.

Model and Third‑Party Licenses

Some Models used by Onoma may be subject to their own licenses (e.g., permissive or copyleft). You agree to comply with those licenses when using outputs or redistributing model artifacts.

Where a specific model's terms impose additional restrictions, those additional terms control to the extent they conflict with these Terms.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or fabricated information. Outputs are not a substitute for professional advice (including legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical guidance).

Onoma is not responsible for any harm, loss, or decisions made based on AI output, including output created by third-party AI models.

You must independently verify output before relying on it, especially for high-stakes uses.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the application to:

• Violate any law, infringe IP rights, or breach privacy rights.
• Generate malware, spam, phishing, or other malicious content.
• Create deepfakes, impersonate individuals, or produce fraudulent or deceptive content intended to cause harm.
• Facilitate wrongdoing (violent or sexual exploitation, human trafficking, illicit drug distribution, etc.).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract model weights, internal APIs, or system prompts unless expressly permitted.
• Attempt to bypass content filters or security features of the application.

We may suspend accounts or remove content that violates these rules or our Usage Policy.

Safety, Moderation, and Content Filtering

We may apply automated filters, moderation, or human review to User Content and Service Output to detect and mitigate policy violations, abuse, illegal content, or safety risks.

Data Use and Training

Privacy-first: Onoma will not use your User Content to train or improve models.

We store User Content only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

Onoma processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

The data controller is Ryde Ventures B.V., located in the Netherlands.

We only collect and process personal data where necessary to provide and improve the service, fulfill contractual obligations, or comply with legal requirements.

EU and EEA users have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their personal data, and may contact privacy@askonoma.com to exercise these rights.

Confidentiality & Sensitive Data

Do not submit sensitive personal information such as passwords, cryptographic keys, or other confidential information.

We will not be responsible for harm resulting from your submission of sensitive data. We disclaim all liability arising from your inclusion of such data contrary to these Terms.

Payments, Subscriptions, and Fees

Paid subscriptions are governed by the applicable order, billing terms, and refund policy. We may change pricing with notice.

Non-payment of paid subscriptions will be suspended and/or downgraded to the free subscription. In this event we will not be responsible for any loss of information.

EU Consumer Withdrawal Right

If you are an EU or Dutch consumer, you have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital subscriptions under the Wet Koop op Afstand (Distance Selling Act). You may exercise this right by emailing us at support@askonoma.com.

If you choose to receive immediate access to paid features, you explicitly agree that:

• The service begins before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and
• Your right to withdraw expires once the service has been fully performed.

Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onoma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion for violations, abuse, or legal obligations.

We may preserve data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to refunds for prepaid subscription periods unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted with at least 30 days' notice where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, you grant Onoma a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback for any purpose.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Onoma.
